It seems that if the underlying sqlite database file for a defined connection has been deleted then when you click on the IDE Connections entry for that database the IDE will silently crash.
Create an sqlite datdbase. Create a connection for it in the IDE. Delete the database file. Double click on the Connections entry for it. Poof! IDE gone.
