Hi Ron, When I baught my last controller from Best Buy I asked to do that. Since I was blind the store was willing to take the controller out of the box and let me feel it, and actually feel it in my hands to see somewhat how it would feel in a game. Obviously, that might very from store to store, but here in this area at least I am able to get stores to allow me to feel the purchase.
