HI Nicol, I haven't used a steering wheel for Top Speed so I cannot really answer your questions but I think I can at least give some minor observations to think about. First, it seems as if you are a bit afraid or perhaps not certain whether to buy a steering wheel when you don't know it at all or not. In this case, I would sincerely encourage you to go ahead. Although the wheels range in price quite a bit and even the cheapest ones will probably cost around 100 bucks or so, it's well worth the money. If I had enough money, I would buy one as well. :-) I haven't had any experience with a steering wheel myself but to me it would be something quite natural as I've already attempted to drive a car with sighted assistance, so I wouldn'T take it as something scary or too difficult to understand. I would rather take it as a new interesting challenge and a funy way to play around with a simulation of reality, so there is no need to stay behind. IF I were you, I'd buy a wheel immediately.
