Hi, Simon. You might want to read the chapter on movement again, but as the directions say the space acts as a modifyer for the arrow keys. If you want to jump strait up you would do space+up. If you want to jump right do space+right. Left is space+left. The numpad keys do the same with 0+4 is left, 0+6 is right, and 0+8 is up. Did that explain it?
