My first thought would be, "How about a chess program for your PC?" I can send you a free one as an Email attachment, or you can get one that has a 30-day trial period. As far as a talking chess computer, I think your best bet would be to, if possible, try it before you buy it. Another thought is that, maybe, you don't need the computer to talk. Some chess computers have beeps to indicate when the correct squares are pressed, and you can cut rubber strip magnets that have adhesive on their backs to the size of the squares and center them on the squares of the pressure sensitive board. You can cut pieces of strip magnet to size and stick them onto the bottom of each chess piece, then mark the black pieces in any way so that you can distinguish them from the White. Talking chess computers are more expensive and they have fewer features than these, so you can save a lot of money and it doesn't take all that long to modify a beeping computer. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Susanne Pedersen" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <gamers@audyssey.org> Sent: Thursday, November 16, 2006 9:20 PM Subject: [Audyssey] Electronic talking chess game
