Hi Lori,

SQL stands for Structured Query Language. Its a programming language
specially developed for designing and managing large databases. In
this case MS SQL is Microsoft's SQL engine which Entombed uses for
managing large databases of information. I don't know exactly what
data is stored in MS SQL by Entombed, but  the basic reason Entombed
needs it is that recent versions of Entombed now stores large amounts
of data in Microsoft's SQL database engine, and won't work without it.
