Hi Michael, What can I say? Companies are greedy and they get you to pay for those voices more than once through exclusive licensing deals that only work with a specific product rather than using an open SAPI compliant interface. It sucks, but unless you are willing to tell them just to stick it where the sun doesn't shine you have to pay up or shut up as those companies are quite apparently unwilling to be reasonable about how they sell and license their voices. It is for that reason I try to only deal with companies like Cepstral that has reasonably decent voices, for a reasonable price, with an open SAPI compliant interface.
