No, no soundpacks.

In fairness alter is the exception rather than the rule in terms of someone building such a massive custom pack for it. Some muds like materiamagica and medevia have a fewsounds you can download from their websites but these are inteded just as some extra atmosphere and only give the odd sound for events, rather than replacing in game text events with sounds and making sound a major part of the experiences as the alter pack done. effecitvely what oriol has done for alter is create a virtually custom client that actually changes the game experience significantly, to the point where I'd no longer considder alter just a basic textual game.

This of course is open to anyone to do with vipmud or other client scripts, but it'd be a massive amount of work.
