Actually not as much as you'd think, especially if it's set too high. It's rather surprising how well most programs adapt to higher screen resolutions, it just means the window on the screen would be physically smaller to a sighted user.

usual would be 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.

Beware the grue!

Wouldn't changing resolutio interfere with other programs?

Well the only reason I could imagine that happening is if you have another
in game window like the trade window or mission window open at the same
time, and sinse they all come with opening and closing sounds and it's
pretty obvious from the text when one is open I don't think that would be
the case.

Then again it's probably worth checking the resolution just in case, sinse
that could potentially cut bits off the screen.

Beware the grue!

I'm able to click on stuff, but sometimes when I arrow through the menu part of it gets cut off.

Hi Tom.

Someone on the audiogames.net forum was having a very weerd problem with not being able to click on stuff, which is why I wondered if it was a resolution issue. I agree getting this one fixed would be great sinse Smugglers 5 (and indeed s5 invasion), are fantastic and games I've had more fun with over the passed couple of weeks than I remember having with any game for quite some
time.

Beware the Grue!

Bryan, by chance do you know what the screen resolution is on that
machine? It may or may not make any difference, but I'd like to see if
I can reproduce the problem and then see if I can come up with a
solution. Smugglers is an awesome game, and it is a sham not to play
it all because your screen reader has a problem for some reason.
