Tom, are you familiar with KPL at all? From what I know of it, one of it's creators is an MS alum and the language is heavily tied in with the .net framework, VB.net / C#
It's billed as being a good way to get introduced to the above and can apparently be easily ported to VB / C#. That's about all I know about it at the moment, but will be looking it up a bit more this week, as I'm curious how it works... anyway, have a great night!...
