DOTA 2 is a small team based game with around a hundred different heroes to select from. There are two teams, each containing five players, and the goal is to take over the other team's base on the far side. There are defense towers and various minion spawn that prevent that from happening early in the game, and teamwork is hugely important. It's rather fast paced and relies a lot on being able to see the surrounding terrain.
