Well I haven't tried much of the game, but I confess at the moment I'm
getting a little irritated by some of the ----- fiddliness in commands and
stuff your not told.
For example, I tried a package delivery but was only once told where to take
it and couldn't find the place or a way to check.
I now descover there are four types of deliveries so I tried another one and
again, am not told the destination.
I was able to salvage debris and carry passengers successfully and also
trash collect on an but asteroid but getting info on things before you buy
is difficult, and often the commands do not work, for example when trash
collecting I couldn't use directional commands in my vehicle.
I also can't use the pm system because I've got to accept some policy or
other or something like that, which is annoying when other players are
trying to be helpful to me, (and really I sat through all the policies when
I created my character, this is imho overkill).
It would be nice to get some combat against aliens sinse I gather this game
isn't! a pvp hack, however the only combat I found was a starship training
sim, which was rather fiddly to end by returning the ship as you have to
type the ship name quite exactly, including a long numeric string.
In general I get the impression most players of this game are familiar with
games of this type, so the help system is a little cursery.
In general it doesn't seem the most newbie friendly of gamess.
The activities are fun, and the combat looks fun, however I really! wish the
information and commands were a little less cumbersome sinse I think people
are getting sick of me complaining on the newbie channel.
