Thanks for the congrats, and yes, we both cried, indeed my lady couldn't
sing due to her being choked up.
I was a little worried given that the pasta's initial ap[proach to the
service (and his so called councilling), was absolutely not us (and probably
not anyone in this day and age either), all about how woman was created from
Adam's rib as his helmpmeat and the woman was the queen of the home and
there to support the man, and was giving up all her friends for him etc.
That's why basically we didn't just write our own vows, but pretty much had
to write our own service, and I will give the pasta creddit that he did
stick to the script, albeit I'd have been happier if we'd had a priest wo
was a little less rule bound and a little more personal.
Still, things in the us religion wise are different from the Uk, which is
rather less conservative, and we're going to have a renewing of the vows so
that my family and friends, and some friends my lady made while living in
Germany can come as well, which should be nice.
The honymoon at hotel hershy was astoundingly lovely, quite literally a bed
of roses :D.
Now we're both rather shattered, though annoyingly we still have all the
burocratic shenanigans with the English Visa to get through which is
something of a pain.

days. Firstly, awesome that you're getting married! I totally cried during
the cerimony my husband and I had on September 6th, 2013. We wrote our own
vows, and had two pastors performing the ceremony. One pastor did my vows,
and the other did my husband's. I had to have the pastor doing my vows
repeat a line when I couldn't say it the first time because I was so
choaked up. It's a day I'll always remember! I actually was able to get an
audio recording of it, which I have since put onto my computer and into
Drotbox for good measure. I hope your day went according to plan, and that
you were able to get an audio recording of it, as well! Sighted people had
pictures and the visuals from a video—we blind people should have our
audio. I plan to record our kids (when we have them) as much as possible.
But that's a little ways into the future lol. Anyway, I hope your day was
absolutely awesome!
