Try disabling your internet connection when you open the program for the first 
time. I had to do this once because I kept getting a message that the developer 
certificate expired. Silly Apple and their trusted developer certificates and 
App Store limitations. Anyway, you should be able to run the game normally 
after going through this process. I think it saves a file somewhere once the 
game loads for the first time verifying that it works. Alternatively, you could 
try bringing up the context menu with VO shift M and choose open.
