Hi, AC. You should have at least one dwelling by now where you can drop items. My basic rule of thumb is to keep magical items and sell weapons/armor otherwise. Hang onto that bow. I generally wear the best I have and sell the rest. When it's unclear which is best, for example, a superior leather helm vs. a well-crafted hide helm, I compare their stats (to see which has a higher stamina bonus and sell the other one. If the stamina bonuses are the same, I wear the lighter one.
If you haven't been to Graldoc yet, go there and do those adventures. They'll open up the market for you, and you'll get better prices. If you haven't at least bought a dwelling in Durnsig, do so. I don't carry anything I can drop if I don't need it right then. That leaves more room to pick up items you can later sell. The durnsig dwelling supposedly has a 24-item limit, but it's not enforced. If you've done Stoneback Hill, you'll also get a dwelling in Trithik, which has a 50-item limit (again unenforced).
