Hi Kim, The upgrade for 1.2 is free for all registered SOD 1.0 users. So all you need to do is send in for a new key replacement after installing 1.2. As for temperal disturbences they are not monsters. As I indecated in a prier post they are wrips in the time space continuum. That said what can happen ius you could move forward or back in time through one or be warped to a new place. I know of no way to destroy one according to Sci-Fi shows and probably the reason you can't kill them in 1.2.
