Hello A portkey, usually a small object, is a thing which if you touch, it transports you to another location. They're quite fast, you need to spend seconds to travel. Other things, which you can travel with, but takes up more time to do so, are for example the ones which Phil mentioned before, but they're not portkeys. They're just objects, which made usable in another way (flying car, for instance). The most common is the broom. Many witches/wizards use it, because using a portkey is not that confortable.
