Hi, I have not had problems catching rats under XP. For the rats, you need to use the left, up and right arrows depending on the direction. If she can't get into the martial's office, then she is nowhere near the rat section. After completing your first bank robbery fight, you need to simply go into any other building, such as the salloon or visitors center and do one or two things in it.
