the way smtp works though is that a person actually has to specify their e-mail address twice. In the top of the smtp send command you need just the e-mail address like [EMAIL PROTECTED] But in the headers of your e-mail, you also need to specify from as in Niko C [EMAIL PROTECTED] But some people's e-mail clients of services do not send the e-mail address just the display name like niko C and that is it. In OE, you just se the display name if that's all the person sends and if you want to actually see their e-mail address you have to lok at the headers. That is one major disadvvantage of it. Fortunately a lot of people send their e-mail addres in the from fieldso you can see who it is from.
