Hi all, I'd like to organize a Sound RTS tournament, best of three style for the matches. It would follow a standard tournament set up with group 1 and group 2, with the victor of group 1 taking on the victor of group 2. I think we should set the limit of players at 12, to minimize organization headaches. I can post results on my website. The way it would work is we would pair everyone up for round 1, with the winner of each match reporting they won, at which time they would go into the next bracket. You would win a match when you beat your opponent 2 out of 3 games. We did a similar thing with chess tournaments, and it worked out pretty well. I think the multiplayer map 2 would work for this, but I am open to any ideas. If any one has suggestions, or anyone wants to help manage this thing, let me know. If you want to enter the tournament, email me off list and I will put you in the list. Groups and matches will be determined at random. More info to come as I see if this is going to be popular enough to even mess with, and be sure and let anyone off list that might be interested know about it.
