I know the folks that made the classic "Troopanum" (BSC Games," were able to 
compress the game. However I'm not sure how they did it. It seems that .MSI 
is the smallest download extension I know of, but there should be something 
smaller. Also, have you consider making the sounds for the game in .ogg 
format, then of course change the file extension to the "USA Games" format? 
I'm wondering if that would work as well.
