The 1.0 beta 7 version is just a test version, not a stable version. The default installation folder is different than the folder of the 1.0 beta 6 stable version, so the 2 versions can coexist in the same computer.
Main new features: - ability to start multi-player games without using the Internet server list (for local network games for example) - the food limit is 80 divided by the number of players (instead of 20 for each player) - bug fix: better multi-player support for games with 3 or 4 players (when one player quits the game, his units don't stay in the game anymore) - bug fix: the starting zones of the players in multi-player games are random; the strategy of the computer AI in aggressive mode is random - the computer AI in aggressive mode is slightly better. _______________________________________________ Gamers mailing list ..
