HI all
I considered writing to [EMAIL PROTECTED] but I thought if I ask on this
list first, maybe someone else have the same problem like me.
And thom randle is on this list so maybe he can point me in the right
direction.
As from this year, I cannot play pipe2 as a registered user.
On today 6 january I came back from holiday.
When I select normal as my difficulty I hear a buzzing sound letting me know
I'm in demo mode and yes I'm indeed in demo mode.
I can only play the first 4 levels on easy.
I played a game of pipe2 and after level4 thom said: thank you for
evaluating the game, please consider registering.
I suspect for each calendar year bsc games supplies a new product key for
each game to customers.
I copied my product key to the clipboard which I was issued when I bought
the game and which I saved to my drive then I went to the program to
register pipe2.
When I press enter in the programs menu on register blast chamber I get
the following error
-2147417848 Automation error
The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.
OK
Any help on how to solve this is much appreciated.
I even uninstalled pipe2 completely and installed it again.
Should I download the setup file again and try installing it again?
Or should I wait for bsc games to issue me a new product key?
When do they normally issue new product keys in the new year?
Btw thom, apologies if you experienced my message regarding the laptop as
insulting, its not meant as insulting at all. My brother told me he is
using windows xp pro sp 2, he's got i.e 6, he's got one of the newest
laptops available in computer stores in south Africa and he downloaded the
latest version of n v d a for me.
I didn't know the site to go to so he used google to search for n v d a by
typing: non visual desktop access.
I believe you if you say you have tested n v d a with all screen readers.
I carefully explored the keyboard and it only have one shift key to the
right of the slash key.
Maybe the screen resolution or some other display setting was too low,
that's probably why n v d a couldn't recognize buttons.
