Yeah, if you are referring to knowing how to play a song on a real guitar, it doesn't relate in guitar hero at all. you will definately need sighted assistance or a lot of patience to learn the patterns to the songs, and even with help, the solos for me at least are basically impossible. It can be played, but without sighted assistance, I for one don't have the time to put into it to make it worthwhile. I'd rather spend the time working on my real guitar skills, grin.
