I don't think I'd try that one until you've trained up a bit. As for the Sword of Merzekk, the sword itself is found in the village of Colnea in the Harte Hills. If you examine the wears the blind peddler has for sale and buy the rusty longsword for I believe eight gold, you'll be on your way to possessing the sword. THe first gem is in the first Silver Crest quest. If you explore the woodlands surrounding the pasture and kill the worm in its nest, you'll have the chance to reach in and take an object. This gemstone is one of the three. The second gem is located in Meglasmire near Tryndmoor, but you need a master level in Thievery. That is level seventy. The third gem is currently not available.
