I don't know why, but it seems that almost spontaniously Sapi5 voices on the whole just stopped working. This causes a great deal of annoyance: I can still use Elloquence for speech with Window-Eyes, but none of the games which use Sapi--Montezuma's Revenge, any of the Blind Gamers series from Spoonbill Software, etc. will work. In the Control Panel, I've investigated and found that none of the speech voices will preview. "This voice cannot be played. Please try selecting another voice or a different output device." I've tried that, and neither seems to fix anything. I've ran innumerable repair tools, tried deleting the user lexicon file, nothing seems to work. Any ideas on what might be causing this?
