Hi Ari, Yes, it is true that Utopia Technologies no longer is in existance as a company. However, that doesn't matter according to U.S. copyright law. A copyright can be held by a company or individual for the life of that person or company plus an additional amount of years. Either way they still retain the trade marks and copyrights for their Montezuma's Return game, and will do so for a good many years yet. That is just how well protected trade marks and copyrights are in the U.S.A. Strictly legally speaking, the company, or an officer of the former company, can request that USA Games change aspects of our game that conflicts with their copyright holdings. For example, I could be asked to change the name of the game, or change some element/elements in the game that they feel is a conflict of interest.
