In the console, type the word 'pause' without the quotes. this will stop the demo. Typing 'quit' again, without the quotes, will quit the game and get you back to the launcher. Typing 'start' will start the game. Typing 'tut' will start the tutorials. Typing 'DM' will start a deathmatch. Each of the above commands should also be followed by a press of the 'enter' key. These commands should be covered in the manual. I personally didn't write the manual, but I did read it and will also go and have a look again to make sure they are there.
