Hi Corry,
Well, that would largely depend on exactly which Linux components were 
installed on the Braille Plus. Just because the core os is Linux doesn't 
make it necessarily compatible with Java apps. For example you would 
need to have the X-Windows server and the Gnome desktop to run my games 
since I plan to use swt which depends on the Gnome GTK+2 tool kit and 
the Orca screen reader.
I grant swt isn't as flexable as doing the gui in swing, but 
accessibility needs to be a high priority here over total platform 
independants.
