Cool Phil.

This not a joke email I see. Smiles.

I loved American Zoom.
This was the last book I was reading when I finally lost my poor eye sight.
I ended up getting it from the library and made a copy of it for my own
library.

Each chapter were titled Lap1, Lap2 and so on.
Not only drivers were covered in the book like Richard Petty and Fireball
Roberts but even Big Bill France who built the first NASCAR tracks.
>From Engine builders, Crew chefs to sponsors.
This book had it all.
The book cover shows a front shot of race cars coming at you. You would see
the rainbow hood of Jeff Gordon's DuPont 24 racecar.
At the time of the printing of this book Jeff was a rookie. You could also
see picking around Gorden car a black car with the number 3 painted on its
headlight cover as though this car was going to make a move. There was
another car further back but don't remember, I think it may been Junior.
Johnson car.
I did have my copy get the author's Hancock.
Peter Golenbock who is the Stephen King of Sports books a master craftwork.
Many of his works will from time to time be updated to bring the person or
sport up to date.
So I would love to see Peter do this with this one.
Ok gong to have to stop before I go over my limit.
If you going to read any book about the history of NASCAR its American Zoom.

Crash
