Hi Ron,
I was not positive if it was you who did a review of a few of my games in issue
53, but I thought that I would answer a few of the questions from the review.
In the game of Life the first thing that you do is to decide if you are going
to go to college or not. If you do not go to college you get a business salary
and your salary will be 120 thousand dollars. If you go to college you may end
up being a Doctor, lawyer, teacher or whatever. There are different salaries
depending on what you end up being. Doctor and lawyer's salary is 500 thousand
dollars. So that salary is the amount that you get every time that you land on
or go past a pay day square. Another big thing in the game is if you buy
stock. If you do not, you can not play the stock market and allot of the
squares that would give you money will not. Some what the same thing if you do
not buy Life insurance.
In hangman you asked about the word roman in the adult word list. Well as you
may know french refers to oral sex, Greek refers to anal and roman refers to an
orgy style situation. You said that there were other words as well. If you
recall them, I would be glad to answer as to why I put them in the adult word
list.
I thought that I had Monopoly version 8 ready to go, but yesterday I found 2
bugs. One was caused by a new feature that I added and the other was in a new
feature. I am pretty sure that I have fixed them both, but plan to do more
testing before I put it up on my site. But so in version 8 I have fixed the
alt tab thing and you can now have custom tokens, currency, houses, hotels and
you can edit the MonopolyCustom.txt file to change the names of squares such as
go, jail, free parking, income tax, luxury tax etc. I am thinking that I will
get version 8 put up by some time next week.
Ron, thank you very much for issue 53 and including my interview and review of
my games in it.
