Howdy Tyler and all. Yeah the buttons are fine to work with once you get used to them they are a bit small so if you don't like small buttons you are going to have trouble. I don't mind them at all.
The order of the buttons is not found on gamefaqs I asked Mary Beth to describe them. Hope this helps.
