This might be out of your league at the moment, but there's also a boss down in the tavern cellar you can kill for a rather nice item. Baron Von Ratsworth. He's kind of hard to find, you usually have to go past the rat tap and keep exploring until you see him. He's not necessary to kill to complete the ques tthough.
