Yes this game works in vista. I had no problem with it even when it came out from version 1.0. What are you having a problem with?
Make sure, that if you got version 1.0 of the retail version that you apply all patches, and also install the June 2008 9.0C full and dot net 1.1 for everything to work. I found out the hard way that if you do not install all the patches from his site. if you have only V1.0 and try just to install 1.53 from 1.0. It will error out because there will be files missing.
