Hi Tom, I am sorry I have not released the fix for that bug yet. Several things may be causing the lock up. With the current patch I suggest starting a patronis charm before using the password that gets you on the spiral staircase. I suggest not hitting any keys until you hear sarah announce the floor. The door to the office is north west of you when you finally reach the office lobby.
I am still adding creatures and objects to the game but can not predict when it will be done. One creature will be a rat that is not a rat.
