I can take a stab at guessing already. Soul calibur has a lot in it, a lot more than MK does. Not that mk isn't fun, mind you. I like it, but there are things about soul calibur that I prefer. Counters, rolling, the eight way run, guard impacts, unblockables, guard cancels...
