Hmmm you entered the sea as a fish? cool! I didn't know you could do that, I
just assumed the book was a random death trap.
One thing I'm learning about Eamon (if you read some of the adventure
reviews it'll tell you), is that unlike say Sryth or gamebooks, not all the
adventures have a definite quest and ending.
some, ---- in fact quite a few (and those which most get points from
reviewers), do, but many are just a dungeon with a single entrance/exit,
which you can enter, wander around in, grab loot from, kill monsters in and
leave.
The beginners' cave is one such.
This isn't however a standard of the games, ---- in fact laire of the
minotaur, which was written second after the Beginner's cave I believe, has
a distinct quest.

I'm in the pirate's cave and want to go into the sea. I have a book which
changes me into a fish and I read it right there. I become a fish but I
get eaten by a big fish when I enter the sea. I don't know what to do
about that. I think I went everywhere, I also found the secret passage to
the temple. But I didn't find anything to help me here.
