Blood dusk is interesting. I have played it but the player base is real low
the last time I was there. It is cool combat but all combat so far and it
got a little boring.

I am playing of course miriani and a new one called cowboy bee bop which is
actually pretty cool.

I'm sure you'll get the same old responses here, alter aeon (blah), and
miriani (blah.) I've been playing a mud called Blood Dusk lately. It's a bit

like the conquest mud I posted a while back, only slightly more developed.
The combat system is somewhere between manual and automatic, you have full
control over your character in combat, but if you don't make an action
before you're supposed to act, the AI will perform whichever action it
thinks is best, or perhaps it selects one at random. Not sure. All the mud
seems to be so far is strictly combat. I've seen some references to quests,
like finding a hermit's dog, or paying your respects to a certain living
god, but they all seem to be either not developed, half-baked or
exceptionally hard since I haven't managed to complete a single one of them
yet. Its definitely worth a look though if you're into advanced mechanics.
This is in general, not directed strictly towards lindsay.

As an example of how advanced the combat system is. The most advanced
fighting style I've seen is wrestling. In most games wrestling is either
just random unlinked throws and junk that barely make any sense. On this
game positions are actually taken into account. If you put someone in a
joint lock and perform that attack again, you'll tighten up the joint lock
instead of applying a new one, and your opponent will be described as
struggling to escape your leg lock, arm lock, etc. You also have standing
grapples, like headlocks and such. You can also do standing joint locks, and

there's even various position based attacks. For example. If your opponent
is grounded and you're standing, if you perform an elbow, you'll do a flying

elbow drop. I find it kind of interesting, though the wrestling style needs
some serious rebalancing. Anyway, if you feel like checking it out:

Gordan or talerous if you need help. I won't always be on as these
characters and gordan is my main, but the list of characters I plan to
create to explore all skillsets is too long to post here.
