I play on materia magica and have for about 2 years now. I enjoy the game.
As for how to know where to go, much of it is exploring. Also making friends
helps too. smiles As for getting killed a lot. heh u have to learn which
places are for which levels. I am not sure what level you are but I can help
you out if you hit me up on the game. My character is Aralyn.

Hi.
I'm trying out materia magica with the Vip mud client, though
unfortunately due to a crash when i was first researching this, I've lost
all demo abilities and am playing with the slimmed down version.
I was wondering if people had any tips, sinse i find locating npcs and
places a right pain, ---- though there are maps, they're graphical, and I
also constantly seem to get slaughtered, despite putting plenty of efforts
into practicing my sword skill and armor spells (I'm of course a paladin).
I'm Timrel on there if anyone is around.
