I can talk normal speed and sometimes even faster than normal without a
problem.

Subject: Re: [Audyssey] question about setting destination airport in

Well although I couldn't get speech rec working on my system, I tried on
another which did work.
However even with hal, the only way to get the thing to advance was to read
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas sslooooooooooooooooooooooley
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiilllllllllll.
In short I never was able to speak at normal speed.
so disregurarding that my speech does not work I doubt I would actually be
able to run things right anyway.
As it is to get fs04, iyp and radar contact is going to cost me cash I don't
have.
I have fs02 but thats not much good without the rest of it.
I just wish there was a recognition engine we could use that was not the ms
one or at least there was some way to find exactly what mangled the ms
engines for recognition on my system without mangling everything else.
After testing it looks like this issue is unique to my system as other
desktops not laptops I have run speech recognition both with office xp and
2007 and sapi 5.1 and sapi4 installed.
I had this on 2 older systems earlier so I suspect its the pick of the draw
what works and what does not.
maybe laptops in general can't support some things for whatever reason which
does not make sence.
My sound card is just an internal chip but then one of the desktops I tested
this in has the same make of card as is in this laptop that being a realtech
hd.
So don't know.
