although I'm not playin core, I do understand this entire combo delemah.
such combos also appear on fanfiction.net and other places.
when you press enter to open the combo, before arrowing up or down, press
alt+down arrow. I don't think cobra (or what ever german screen reader anouc
is using
with web formator and if it's german at all) will notice this but I know
jaws and others do, the combo will turn into a listbox. now just arrow to
the desired choice and press enter. then the page will reload taking you to
what you selected.

Yes, I have the same problem. I try to arrow down through the choices in

generally use a plugin with ie (webformator) to make it more accessible
