I have no problem with people getting a boost. That's what the help docs are there for, but it is not fair for those who work hard to watch others esentially get a free pass. If someone wants to learn to do something, they will find a way. I liken it to riding a bike or playing a piano. You have to learn: how to do it, the best ways to do it, and you have to practice.

Some people are very independent, but some people do need a bit of help. I am quite capable of sitting there for months slaving away at the keyboard coding my own games, but sometimes it would be quicker to modify a template. That's not to say that I desperately want it, I don't mind either way, but I don't begrudge anyone their opinion or lower their self confidence because they have varying abilities than myself. My partner, for one, has tried and tried under my supervision to learn how to code, but she does not understand the concepts, either through the language tutorials, extra explanations from me, or with example games. Just because of this, does that mean she has to lose out in your opinion? I would hope not. Regards, Damien. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liam Erven" <liamer...@gmail.com> To: "'Gamers Discussion list'" <gamers@audyssey.org> Sent: Thursday, July 15, 2010 2:23 AM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] bgt question >I must be the one person in the universe who gets annoyed by this.
