As you already know a Hydra can't be defeated by lopping off its heads without using a torch to burn the necks shut. Of course, you can't do that underwater and without an extra person to help. Neither can you just take a swing at its hide with a sword, enchanted or not, because its body is covered in scales. However, like a dragon a Hydra has one spot that is pretty vulnerable if you can get to it. That's all I'm going to say. P.S. The Greeks were a master of this weapon, and used it ffar more than swords, daggers, and other weapons.
