Hi, It's in the glossary. "Angle of Attack: The angle between the wings of an aircraft and a fixed reference point, which will be taken as the ground in Three-D Velocity. The angle of attack is always positive. However, certain angles will pitch the aircraft up, while others will pitch the aircraft down. An angle of attack between 1 and 90 degrees will direct the force of relative air currents above the airfoil, producing lift. Similarly, an angle of attack between 91 and 179 degrees will direct the force of relative air currents under the airfoil, which will cause a downward pitch of the aircraft and cause the aircraft to dive. To summarize, if a pilot wishes to produce lift, the angle of attack must be between 1 and 90 degrees; if the pilot wishes to dive, the angle of attack must be between 91 and 179 degrees."
