It is from the same developer as smugglers 3 and 4 and tv manager 2. Just after smugglers 3, niels baur released a game called empires and dungeons. This was a mix of rpg and stratogy. you were a lord owning a castle and had to defeat several other computer controlled lords by conquering towns, fighting the other lords armies and eventually taking their castle. also though, the game had rpg elements. you had a character who levelled up, could explore dungeons and have adventures, and (as you'll gather from the post), find magic weapons. the first empires and dungeons game was sadly not accessible at all, due to on screen graphics and other things a screen reader couldn't deal with (unlike in smugglers 3). However, after including the compatibility mode in S4 to make the game playable with a screen reader, hopefully a similar mode will be included in E&D 2, the sequal to the first game which is being developed at the moment and which this message was about.
