Turns out I was wrong, they're fine... I just wasn't sure where I was
going and options didn't turn out as simplistic as I thought they
would be. The layout however itself is correct. lol. I think the
video I got off youtube wasn't the most well-done walkthrough of the
menus. But you get a basic gist, at least.
The single-player experience is not big. You have an arcade mode,
training and a mission mode which is basically like trials from super
street fighter IV. However, there is no big story mode due to time
constraints... though rumor is capcom might release that as
downloadable content later on. So the only reason to get this game is
if you really are into fighting games and like playing other people
online, or if you have no problem playing through a typical arcade mode...
I'll do a more indepth menu walkthrough when I'm able, I just wanted
to introduce the game and talk about it a bit. And I appologize for
the lack of commentary... it was hard to play the game for the first
time and talk at the same time. lol.

Hey Clemant and all.
A very good first demo. As you said this game is very fast paced and it is
going to take me quite a while to figure out what is going on where. Just a
couple of questions for clarification. You said that the menus and so forth
that your friend helped you with were not accurate, in what way were they
not accurate and how were you able to figure out what was different? Also,
you mentioned at the end that you would not recommend this game for a single
player or for someone wanting a really big single player experience. What
did you mean by this?
I actually appreciated you explaining the bit about Phoenix. I in fact have
only a rudimentary knowledge of the Marvel commic characters and I am sure
there are others in the same boat.
Lastly, it might be helpful for some of us for you to do a demo where you go
over what you know of the menus and options in more detail. This would
obviously not be for everyone it would only be of interest to those of us
who either already have the game or are planning to get it but it would be
valuable nonetheless I think. Anyhow like I said an excellent first demo of
this brand new title, thanks for putting it up.

Not the best, I admit... but I feel this gives enough of a simple
start to how I get the information from game audio that I do get.
Just showing how I go into training mode and fiddle with the game
until I get used to it and it feels comfortable in my hands... and
get used to all the sounds. Hope this is helpful... and let's get a
discussion going!
