Hi Mike, The ice roads are actually frozen rivers in the northern provinces that are so frozen that they are used as roads. However, as the show said they are extremely dangerous because vehicles can crack the ice and fall through, or slide on the ice and wreck. It would certainly be an interesting concept for a game.
