HI, Saving the game is still the same. First off, you must be in the safe zone to save your character. Pressing the esc key anywhere else does not save your info. Press the esc key to save your stats. Press it again to return to the game, or arrow to exit if you wish.
Putting this option on the safe zone menu sounds clunky and I really don't like the idea at all. It's really just that easy, press the esc key in the safe zone twice, and then go on with your game. Much quicker and easier in my opinion.
