Yes, Shogun is playable. However, what interpreter specifically are
you using. I don't understand when you say, "I am using the text
reader from White Stick." I'm afraid that doesn't make any sense as
the Infocom games were written in a language known as Inform and are
played using in interpreter like Frotz, Winfrotz, Zoom, and so forth.
