You might try extracting all the files again. It sounds like some of your
sounds could be missing. Do you hear youur own footsteps and those of other
players?

Hi,
I’m having quite the time with swamp... For the following reason:
Whenever there’s zombies around me, I don’t hear them. I only hear them
when they get shot at, or when they get hit. If they’re just walking
around, or even, for that matter, if they’re 5 feet from me, I don’t hear
a thing. This has gotten me killed like twice now. The last two times I
just realized I was being attacked in time and ended with 4% health. Any
help on why I can’t hear the zombies is appreciated.
